Cooked Playdough Recipe
3 Cups Flour 3/4 Cops Salt
3 Tsp Cream of Tarter 3 Cups Water
3 TBSP Oil Several Drops of Food Coloring (or essential oils for scented)
Mix all ingredients and stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat on the stove until dough starts to pull away from the sides of the pot. It will be hard to stir but you are doing it right! Keep stiring until it all comes together to make a dough. Remove from heat and let cool a bit before kneeding it on a cool surface. Store in a ziplock baggie. Bring to the classroom by the first of the month. It keeps well for several week in a sealed container.
