What to Expect
What Do I Do When I Arrive?
We know the first time visiting a church can be intimidating so if you have questions, feel free to ask anyone for help. There are three buildings at Faith – the church, the Family Life Center (with gym), and the Preschool.
For Sunday worship you want to enter the building with the steeple. At the front door you will be welcomed by our greeters. They are there to help you. There is also a Welcome Desk located immediately to your left as you enter our narthex (foyer). Our ushers will also help you gather the materials you need for worship and help you find a seat. Restrooms are available down the hall to your right just before you enter the sanctuary.
For the 11:00am Service there are two monitors available so that, if you prefer, you can follow along without a worship folder.
Children In Worship
We believe family should worship together. Children are as much a part of the community as adults. That is why every worship service at Faith has a children's message. Children are invited to come to the front and have some fun. Usually the pastor or leader will do various object lessons or experiments to center the kids on how Jesus matters in their life. Activity Bags with coloring material and small toys are also available. Finally, during Holy Communion, the children are invited to come with their parents to receive a blessing from the pastor.
Childcare
Though children are welcome and encouraged to attend worship with their families, things don't always work out. For this reason we have a staffed nursery for children under the age of four. The nursery is available during both services and Sunday School. Please note that we provide Sunday School classes starting at age 2. Our nursery is located by the restrooms to the left as you exit the sanctuary.
Other Involvement
Don't forget to stop by our Welcome Desk or check out our Happenings page in the worship folder and learn about some of the upcoming events at Faith.
